Brother Oliver Lauridsen (Ice hockey): U18 and U20 World Championship gold medallist in 2007 (D1), being named Best Defenseman at the U18 tournament, with silver medals in 2006 (U18) and 2009 (U20). Has eight senior World Championship appearances and competed in the Olympic Qualification Tournament the past two times. Swedish League champion in 2016 with Frolunda HC, having previously played in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers. Moved to the KHL with Finland's Jokerit, before returning to the SHL in 2020 with the Malmo Redhawks, playing alongside Markus.
