FROM SINGLES TO ICE DANCE
Suffered from injuries and was not able to learn the harder triple jumps. "So it was natural to try ice dance." She decided to ask Matthias Versluis, who was still competing in singles at the time, for a try-out and they teamed up in March 2016. (Athlete, 21 Nov 2021)

OLYMPIC QUALIFYING
Qualified a Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games spot for Finland by winning the Olympic qualifying event Nebelhorn Trophy 2021. As a single skater, missed the qualification for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games at Nebelhorn Trophy in 2013. "Kiira Korpi was injured and I was the substitute. I missed the qualification and it was disappointing for me and I also felt I let down Finland." (Athlete, 21 Nov 2021).
