He hails from a skating family with his parents and sister all being involved in the sport. His mother coached him in single skating before he switched to ice dance.
To improve with each competition and to improve on their 18th place finish from the 2021 World Championships.
To become an actor and to start studying acting in Moscow in 2022.

He and his partner train in Moscow, in Oberstdorf and Dortmund. Relocated to Russia for training in 2018. First trained in Odintsovo near Moscow under Alexei Gorshkov and joined Anjelika Krylova's group in Moscow in 2019. "It was really totally different, the whole system and especially concerning the workload in practice. (...) We came here and we knew relatively quickly that this is exactly what we are looking for.
