Father Mats Mabergs (Curling): Coached the Sweedish wheelchair team to a seventh-place finish at the Sochi 2014 Paralympics, after coaching the team to silver at the 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championships.

Brother Patric Mabergs (Curling): Competed at three World Junior Championships (2010, 2012-13), winning silver as a non-playing alternate in 2012. Lost the Swedish Championship final three times (2013-14, 2016). Silver medallist at the 2017 Winter Universiade. Won European mixed gold alongside Sofia in 2014.

ACADEMY
Moved from her hometown alone to train at the Swedish Curling Academy. “I have a lot of good years in my backpack but those three years (at the Swedish Curling Academy) are still some of the most memorable.” (Athlete, 19 Oct 2021)

CANADIAN FUTURE
Met her Canadian boyfriend at a curling tournament in Saskatchewan and plans to try and live in Canada. “That’s also new for us as a team, but we like challenges. The life has to move on because we’re not 20 anymore.” (Athlete, 19 Oct 2021)

TATTOOS
Got her first tattoo at age 16 (Chinese symbols). Her left arm has numerous tattoos including an owl, a Dahla horse, a maple leaf and a treble cleft intertwined with a curling stone. "My mom didn’t care but my dad was like, 'Do you have to?' and I said, ‘Yeah, I do.'" (Eye Opener, 20 Mar 2018)
