2018: Deep cut from a skate blade at a Grand Slam tournament in Calgary. Received stitches in Calgary and no surgery was required back in Switzerland.

Started in a school program at Curling Club Langenthal, after her family and cousin had all been curlers.

While she enjoys her alternate role, she wants to achieve championship titles on her own, on the ice. After her curling career, she wants to improve people’s health and welfare through sport. (Athlete, 29 Dec 2021)

Trains seven times per week, one day with her women’s team (Irene Schori) and six days either alone or with assorted teammates. Training camps with Team Tirinzoni occur before competitions. Her Sport Science courses also include many sport activities.

Winning the Swiss championship in 2018, as a full-time player – not alternate.

Tennis player Roger Federer (SUI), Beijing 2008 doubles gold and London 2012 singles silver medallist, with 20 career Grand Slam titles.
