2018 European Championships in Tallinn vs. Italy (8-3 Win)

Started curling Biel with friend Jenny Perret (Swiss mixed doubles) at age nine. Perret’s mother took them to the club when she forgot she had a game to play. The ice technician asked the girls if they wanted to try. That night she told her parents this is the sport she wants to play. (Athlete, 18 Oct 2021)

“I was fascinated by the sliding. I felt it was really elegant, you need the feeling for the ice. I always liked the sound, when you hear the pebble under the rock. It’s such a great mix because you need the tactics, so you need your head; you need strength and endurance for the sweeping, and flexibility for the sliding.” (Athlete, 18 Oct 2021)
