Began curling at Stranraer CC at age 10 after three Try Curling sessions at school. His grandfather had his own ice rink, so he’d been on the ice throwing stones since age seven. (fisu.net, 5 February 2015).

“A gold medal. Once you achieve that in curling, there’s not much that’s going to top that. That’s the major ambition for every curler I think. A world gold medal is one to pursue as well, we’ve got the bronze and silver, now it’s time for gold.” (Athlete, 15 Sep 2021)
Trains five days a week with the team. Rests on weekends.
