2001 European Championships in Vierumaki vs. Czech Republic
Grew up in Cembra, one of the few towns in Italy where curling is played. All the youths in town tried the sport. He first played with his brother in 1999 and never stopped.

His teammates are professional athletes and train every day, two sessions on ice and one session off-ice. He trains but doesn’t throw hundreds of practice rocks anymore. “I get in shape very quickly compared to the past. I know what I have to focus on.” (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)
Winning bronze at the 2021 European Championships and qualifying for Beijing 2022 some 10 days later. His team also qualified to compete in their first Grand Slam tournament in January but it was cancelled due to COVID-19.
