“I think it’s a mixture of the team and individual stuff. You have to practice alone and then regroup and be strong with those four teammates on the ice. I think that’s a special chemistry you don’t find in any other team sports.” (Athlete, 22 Oct 2021)

KARLSTAD INSPIRATION
In 2012 Karlstad CK hosted the European Championships. “I saw Nik (Edin) and Oskar (Eriksson). I saw all this atmosphere of how it would be in a championship. I got to carry the Swedish flag into the arena, as a junior from the club, and it was a big moment. Since that year I’ve always wanted to represent Sweden at the Olympics. I think I had the ambition when I was 12 years old that I would represent Sweden in 10 years. Now it’s 10 years later and I’m going to the Olympics. That’s pretty awesome.” (Athlete, 22 Oct 2021)

YOUTH
Completed one year of Architecture studies at upper secondary school before switching to become a full-time athlete.
