Introduced at a young age through his family. Began playing at age six in Karlstad, Sweden. “I was so young when I started to see the sport. I was sitting with the old guys and I was talking tactics with them when I was five and usually, I was right.” (FISU YouTube, 12 Nov 2013)
Introduced to the sport by his two older brothers, so when he was old enough to push the rocks, he started playing too. “It’s a family thing, and I fell in love with it right away. All men’s team members live in Karlstad during the season. On-ice training is five to six days per week, off-ice workouts three to four days per week. Additional running is roughly twice a week. Engages in CrossFit for his off-ice workouts.
