General Interest

MIXED DOUBLES
Competed in two World Curling Tour mixed doubles events - winning one - prior to winning the Swedish championship, which qualified the pair for the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Championship, where they won bronze. Their opponents in the Swedish final were Therese Vestman and Robin Ahlberg. Vestman is the daughter of Swedish curling legend Anette Norberg (2006, 2010 Olympic gold). All of Eriksson’s men’s teammates except for Christoffer Sundgren competed in the Swedish championship, with Isabella and Rasmus Wranaa finishing third.

ON LOSING THE FINAL AT PYEONGCHANG 2018
“Losing that one really sucked. Realizing that a medal is a medal helps, so does winning the worlds. But when you’re in a final, you really want to win it.” (Athlete, 25 Oct 2021)

RECRUITED
“I wasn’t really gonna try and do both (four-player and mixed doubles curling) until Almida (de Val) asked me. I was playing with Anna (Hasselborg) but her team decided not to play both. Almida texts me, and I think, why not?” (Athlete, 25 Oct 2021)
