Though his father was a curler, he didn’t try the sport until a teacher took him and fellow students to the Chisholm Curling Club in March 1996. The following year he began playing in leagues and bonspiels. (Athlete, 3 Dec 2021)
“Delivering a curling stone is so much fun and challenging at the same time. The strategy and tactics of the game have always drawn me in. Trains alone on the ice for an hour per day, up to six days per week. Works out alone in a gym three to five days each week. Team practices are arranged for roughly one day per week.
