Started curling after hanging out at the facility while his parents played. He was eight years old.

:

"Both my parents have played ever since curling came to Denmark. Actually, it was my grandfather who brought the sport to Denmark. He was in the ice skating community and was part of a group of people who bring curling to the country. So it was always in the cards that I should play, I guess.” (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)

:

“Ambitions are a funny thing. For as long as I can remember, my ambition has been to reach the Olympics at some point in my career. Even now that we have qualified and with the world being in the state that it is in, this is interestingly still my ambition, avoiding COVID and getting on that plane. Until we arrive in Beijing, I try to not think too much about the actual games.” (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)

:

Winning the 2009 World Junior Championship in Vancouver, against Brett Gallant (CAN). “It was (skip) Rasmus Stjerne’s last year of juniors and we’d played six times by then, it was a long fight. When it finally happened, we were kind of in shock.” (Athlete, 10 Jan 2022)

:

Curler Sebastian Stock (GER), Salt Lake City 2002 Olympian, 2004 World Championship silver medallist and two-time European champion. (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)

His parents. (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)

Has a “bad habit” of trying to replicate “everything” whenever games go well. “That can be everything from eating the exact same breakfast as the day before or wearing the same pair of socks for the game as the previous game. I admit it can get a bit silly sometimes, but why change a winning routine, you know?” (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)

:

“Always come as prepared as possible. Once you’re at an event, you play the way you do. But when it comes to preparations, you’re your own master in terms of how many hours and how much preparation you have done before an event. I want to be able to look back and say I couldn’t have done more.” (Athlete, 5 Jan 2022)
