Father Kim Dupont (Curling): Competed at back-to-back World Junior Championships (1980-81), finishing sixth on both occasions with a 4-5 record.
Sister Madeleine Dupont (Curling): Two-time Olympian (2010, 2018), playing alongside Denise on both occasions, including their fifth-place finish at Vancouver 2010. Two-time World Championship medallist (both with Denise), winning silver in 2007 and bronze in 2009. Won three European Championship medals with her sister, including silver in 2002 and back-to-back bronze (2008-09).
Brother Oliver Dupont (Curling): Finished 10th at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Silver medallist at the 2016 World Championship and world junior champion in 2009. Partnered sister Denise at the 2015 World Mixed Championship, finishing fifth.

2015: Slipped disc. Had a minor surgical procedure and recovered with no complications. Her sister Madeleine is currently battling with the same injury.
Started curling in February 1998 at Hvidovre CC where her parents played. She was inspired by Denmark's women winning silver at the Nagano 1998 Olympic Winter Games. (nbcolympics.com, Jan 2018)
“It’s the perfect combination of the physical, mental and strategy. In other sports it’s either me or a bigger team, so I think four or five people is a perfect number. My daughter is a soccer girl, she thinks curling teams are too small.” (Athlete, 7 Jan 2022)
The team practices on ice together four times per week. Off-ice workouts take place individually according to each athlete’s work schedule.
