Began at Hvidovre Curling Club in Copenhagen soon after watching the sport during Vancouver 2010. “I’d never heard of the sport before, it just randomly came along. I watched for a couple of hours and just fell in love with it.” (Athlete, 3 Jan 2022)

“Everybody wants to win a medal at the Olympics. I want it for a very specific reason. The attention on curling in Denmark is only really there every fourth year during the Olympics. As a nation we have won one medal at the Winter Olympics in our entire history, back in Nagano in 1998. It ignited something in our country. It’s the primary reason why Danish people know what curling is and a big reason why we have the clubs and curling players that we do today. But the amount of players are dropping and have been for many years. I want to be a part of what reignites the interest in curling and be a part of the reason that we hopefully can welcome many new curling players around the country.” (Athlete, 3 Jan 2022)

:

Trains on-ice four days per week, including with his teammates from Tuesday through Thursdays. Off-ice workouts two to three times per week.

:

Finishing fourth at the 2019 European Championships in Helsingborg. “No one expected us to be there, because we were down in the C-group a couple of years earlier. Going up to the A-group and suddenly playing for medals was huge for us.” (Athlete, 3 Jan 2022)

:

Footballer Christian Eriksen (DEN), three-time Eredivisie champion with Ajax, 2021 Serie A champion with Inter Milan, and four-time Danish Player of the Year. “He seems to be a casual and really down-to-earth kind of guy.” (Athlete, 3 Jan 2022)
