Cyprus was represented by one male athlete, Dino Lefkaritis, who competed in Alpine skiing. Lefkaritis was entered in the slalom and giant slalom but did not finish either race.

OLYMPIC GAMES HISTORY
The Cyprus National Olympic Committee was formed in 1974 and recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1979, but several athletes of Cypriot nationality competed since 1896, representing Greece.

Making its official Olympic debut at the Lake Placid 1980 Olympic Winter Games, Cyprus has competed at every Games since, including 11 winter appearances. Cyprus has only competed in Alpine skiing at the Olympic Winter Games, with 15 athletes (12 men, three women). Their top finish to date has been 21st by Lina Aristodimou in the 1984 slalom.

Cyprus has not yet won an Olympic Games medal but has had two fourth-place finishes, by Antonis Nikolaidis in skeet shooting (2008), and by Pavlos Kontides in Laser class sailing (2020).
