Competed with a team of four athletes (three men, one woman) in two sports - luge and speed skating. Its best finish was 20th by speed skater Huang Yu-Tung in the women's 1000m.

OLYMPIC GAMES HISTORY
The NOC first competed at the Olympic Games at Melbourne 1956 and has taken part at every Olympic Games since with the exception of 1976 and 1980. It has competed under various names.
The NOC has competed at 12 Olympic Winter Games with 46 Winter Olympians (41 men, five women), competing in eight disciplines - Alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, figure skating, luge, short track speed skating, and speed skating.
Two men have competed at four Olympic Winter Games, bobsledders Chen Chin-San (1984, 1988, 1992, 2002), and Sun Kuang-Ming (1984, 1988, 1994, 1998), who also competed in luge in 1984 and 1988.
Its athletes' best finish at a Winter Games has been 15th in the 2-man bobsleigh (Chen Chin-San, Lee Chen-Tan) at Nagano 1998. Among women, speedskater Huang Yu-Ting finished 20th in the 1000m at PyeongChang 2018.
At the Olympic Games, its athletes have won 36 Olympic medals, including seven gold, with its most successful athlete being weightlifter Hsu Shu-Ching, who won gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016. Two of its best-known athletes have been C.K. Yang, Rome 1960 decathlon silver medallist, who set world records in the pole vault and decathlon in 1963, and Chi Cheng, Mexico City 1968 80m hurdles bronze medallist, who was the top female sprinter in the world from 1969-70.
