Finished 7th at 2019 WCh. Placed 5th at 2018 European Ch, 10th in 2016. 1st at 2017 Junior European Ch. Silver at 2016 Junior World Ch. In other events - 2nd in 4X100m relay at 2021 World Relays. In 2018 he became the first ITA sprinter to break the 10-second barrier after posting a 9.99s time at the World Challenge event in Madrid. He has a tattoo of the island of Sardinia on his body.

He originally competed for Nigeria before moving to Qatar in 2009 and gaining citizenship a year later.

First Olympics. He is coached by USA sprinters Carl LEWIS and Leroy BURRELL at the University of Houston. 'I'm glad every day that the coaches like me - because I like the coaching and I am always willing to learn.' He has a signature celebration if he does well, which he sums up as 'opening and closing the safe'. He played basketball and rugby as a child.
