FUTURE PLANS
He plans to make his final Olympic Games appearance in 2020 in Tokyo, as he intends to focus on his work as a motivational speaker. "I am called a 'mentality monster' by many friends because I have worked a lot in this area and am fascinated by what can be triggered by the mind. I have a lot of experience that I want to pass on. I want to work as a speaker. I will be in companies, but mainly work with children. I have two projects in mind. I want to go into schools - especially in focus schools. CUBAN RIVAL
Going into the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, he believes Cuban wrestler Ismael Borrero Molina is one of his closest rivals. "There are five or six candidates for gold. He is one of them. I lost to him more clearly than ever before in my life. I'm burning for revenge. I live for that. I will show the world that this will not happen to me again. OCCUPATION
He completed his training as an IT specialist in 2013 and worked in marketing for the IT company NovaTec, where he was also a motivational speaker. He has been an ambassador for baby gear brand ARCHE IntensivKinder since 2015. He later joined the Bundeswehr [Germany Army] as a soldier.
