RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
After losing the 57kg category final at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, she says she considered retiring from the sport. She was convinced to continue competing and later triumphed in the 65kg weight class at the 2020 European Championships in Rome, Italy. "I decided to give up. I was always just short, second or third, so I started to think it wasn't my thing. If it were not for my coach Petar Kasabov, I would probably have ended my career.
