She was involved in athletics and gymnastics before switching to weightlifting. "I was at a fairly high level of gymnastics, but once I went to the gym at a gymnastics camp and a trainer saw that I had talent for it, he put me in contact with coach Tom Goegebuer. SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST
In 2020 she worked with a sports psychologist to maintain her mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. "I had to train alone and hardly saw anyone anymore [in 2020]. It was really hard to train while all competitions were cancelled. Quitting didn't really occur to me, but sometimes I thought, 'What am I doing?' Fortunately, I have the support of my family and my coaches. I also went to a sports psychologist to vent. Crying moments were also part of that.
