Highlights

He made 409 appearances for Italy, and won a gold medal as part of the Italian team at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where he scored six goals in the tournament including two in the final. He also competed at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. He was part of two Italian teams that won medals at the world championships, including gold in 1994, and the team that won bronze at the World Cup in 1983.
