Her partner Luciano Taccone has also represented Argentina in triathlon, competing at the 2021 World Cup event in Leeds, England, and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Her sister Cecilia has represented Argentina in both swimming and open water swimming. She competed at the 2021 Olympic Marathon Swim Qualifier in Setubal, Portugal, and featured in swimming at each edition of the Olympic Games from 2000 to 2012, as well as the 10km open water swimming event at the 2012 Games in London. She injured three ribs, one of them fractured, after crashing on her bike while competing at the May 2021 World Cup event in Lisbon, Portugal. The injuries did not prevent her from competing at the following World Cup event in Arzachena, Italy, later that month. She first took up swimming, but later switched to triathlon. "One day we went to swim but the pool was closed. Then we joined a triathlon group to go running in the park, that's where the idea to try the sport came from. I had never run even a block in my life, I only swam. I do not know if the triathlon coach saw something in me, but he told my brother to enrol me in triathlon. I did not even know what it was all about, I had never seen one on TV."
