General Interest

General
CROATIA TO AUSTRALIA
Born in Zagreb, Croatia, she initially represented her country of birth before switching her sporting allegiance to Australia in 2014. She began representing Australia at the 2014 US Open in New York, NY, United States of America, but was unable to represent the nation at non-Grand Slam events until she gained Australian citizenship in January 2018. (thesun.co.uk, 12 Feb 2021)

WORKING ON MENTALITY
In June 2021 she spoke about seeking advice from former US tennis player Chris Evert in an attempt to improve the mental side of her game. "Chrissie, how she was, was pretty impressive and a lot of it came naturally to her. Talking to her, though, always helps. She keeps things very simple and she gets to the point very quickly. I always like to keep in touch with her and we always do. I see her almost every day when I'm back in Boca Raton [FL, United States of America] training. But at the end of the day, no matter how much I talk to her or anyone else, I know I'm the one on the court and I have to figure it out for myself." (thewest.com.au, 05 Jun 2021)
