In 2020 she released two songs on a number of media platforms. "To be honest, when I released my first song 'Thousands of Me' I thought that I would not record any more. It seemed very strange to me but, after a while, I began to enjoy the emotion of singing and decided that there would be a new track ['Favourite Track']. I do not strive to become a cool artist. I just like to sing, But it's much easier for me to be on the tennis court than in the studio. Standing in front of a microphone and singing is such a stress for me." SANCTION DROPPED
In November 2020 she tested positive for the banned substance mesterolone in an out-of-competition test, and was provisionally suspended by the International Tennis Federation [ITF] from 07 January 2021. An appeal was dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] in February 2021 and her provisional suspension remained in force. But on 22 June 2021 the ITF Independent Tribunal decided that she had committed the violation with no fault or negligence and lifted her suspension, which made her eligible to resume playing again with immediate effect. She was unable to compete at Wimbledon in 2021 as organisers had withdrawn her entry before her suspension was lifted, but she returned to competition at the 2021 Hamburg European Open in Germany.
