As the younger brother, I always wanted to do everything that my brother did, so I also started with tennis and I never tried any other sport. In 2021 he began teaming with fellow Croatian player Mate Pavic in men's doubles. "I always wanted to play with Mate, but we had never played before. Look, Mate is number one for me, the best player in the world in doubles, he has no weak point. Strong on the service, strong on the back, strong on the net, and I think I'm pretty solid in all of that.
