MOVE TO SPAIN
Early in her career she relocated to Alicante, Spain, in order to be closer to elite level tournaments. "As a young girl I knew that in Argentina it would be very difficult to grow as I wanted in women's tennis. Mainly in geographic and economic terms. It's not such a big drama for me. Of course I would like to be more in the country [Argentina], but I am focused on where I want to get and what I need to do, and the best way to do it is to stay in Europe." MENTAL COACH
In 2019 she began working with mental coach Pedro Merani. "In the philosophical aspect it was good for me to work with a mental coach who tends towards Zen Buddhism. It taught me several lessons about isolating myself. Rather than watching what is all around I try to seize every chance and be positive. I learned all these things through Zen. Since I started working with him [Merani] I changed the approach I had regarding tournaments.
