PSYCHOLOGY
She wrote her university thesis on coping with pressure and would like to become a sports psychologist once she retires from the sport. "I can transfer a lot of the foundations from my studies to sports and connect the dots, which is really helpful. My bachelor thesis [was] about choking under pressure, or failing to cope with a public pressure situation, something each athlete and coach is familiar with. Knowing the theory behind sports phenoms like these helps me get a better understanding of them and optimise them in case of emergency."
