RETIREMENT PLAN
She says she will retire after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. When the Games were postponed to 2021, she delayed her retirement by a year. "It is something I announce with sadness. The time is coming for me to make the transition from sport into another field, I am 28 years old [speaking in 2020] and I think that is the right time. The focus is on winning an Olympic medal and saying goodbye. I will try to prepare so I can fight at my best. It is hard to focus on other things when you're committed to only sport, but I managed to finish my studies on top of everything. I am currently involved in the Olympic Committee of Serbia and I want to learn as much as possible from the people there and to contribute to the development of sport in Serbia." (alo.rs, 01 Aug 2020; b92.net, 13 Apr 2020; danas.rs, 13 Apr 2020)

OTHER ROLES
In late 2020 she was elected president of the Sports Commission of the Olympic Committee of Serbia. (tas.org.rs, 03 Dec 2020)
