"As an athlete it is very important to first believe in ourselves. If we cannot believe in ourselves and be confident in our training and abilities, we have already lost the battle we set out to accomplish. After we learn to believe we are able, we must commit ourselves 100% to achieving that goal in mind." (believecommitachieve.com, 01 Mar 2020)

KNEE TROUBLE
She says that after undergoing a series of knee operations, she feared she would be unable to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "After my sixth knee surgery in 2019 I thought it to be impossible to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after hearing the shocking news that I had about 20-30% of my meniscus left over from surgery. However, I felt I had to continue and finish my race on to becoming an Olympian. Despite all those who doubted me and advised to give it up, after a hard rehab process, I returned to sport. After falling short for the Rio 2016 Olympics, I persevered through all my setbacks." (victoriastambaugh.com, 01 Apr 2020)

In March 2020 she co-founded Believe Commit Achieve, a gym that offers taekwondo and parkour coaching in Houston, TX, United States of America. She also has experience as a motivational speaker and has led seminars.
