She began playing table tennis while at primary school in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. (stadiumth.com, 14 Mar 2021; siamsport.co.th, 30 Mar 2020)

"When I was in primary school, I often saw seniors who had played at table tennis tournaments who were called up to receive an award in front of the flag pole in the morning assembly. This was what sparked my urge to play the sport, because I felt that those girls were the best and I wanted to be like them." Initially, her mother did not want her to play because she was so young and small at the time and struggled to reach the height of the table but, with the help of her first table tennis coach Niwas Somkanet, she started practising.
