The Israeli men's 4x200m freestyle relay team are making their first appearance at the Olympic Games.

At the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, their time in the heats was not enough to qualify for the final. However, Israel's rank of 10th was an improvement on their 16th-place finish in 2017, which was their world championship debut in the event.

Israel have qualified for the final at the European championships once in four appearances, placing eighth in 2016 in London. The were ranked ninth at the most recent edition of the tournament in 2021.
