REPRESENTING SWITZERLAND
Born in the Russian Federation, she moved to Switzerland in 2005 alongside her mother, who had accepted a job as a swimming coach in Ticino. She represented the Russian Federation from 2009 to 2012. RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
In 2014 she considered retirement after finishing her studies in economics in Lausanne, Switzerland. Her link with her club Lausanne Natation came to an end but she wanted to go to a training camp. At the camp she met coach Pablo Kutscher, who was a coach for SC Uster-Wallisellen. She had so much joy with his training methods that she decided to cancel her retirement plans.
