She was pleased with her performance in the 100m breaststroke at the 2021 national championships in Riccione, Italy despite missing out on qualification in the event for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo after finishing second behind Martina Carraro. "I don't have the qualification but, considering everything, I'm very happy. I went under the previous Italian record.
