FROM RIO TO TOKYO
She competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro at age 16 and says that she used the experience as a lesson. "I did not feel like I belonged there. I was not aware of everything. I used the opportunity to watch other, more experienced athletes from the sidelines, to observe what they do, what they eat, how long before the race they go on the bus. I gathered experiences, watched others cope with the pressure. I dealt with them more than with myself. I don't even remember my races. Maybe just a starting block and adrenaline in the whole pool. A lot of people were there. Crowded and too loud. But it was like that for the first time, because everything was new and strange to me, it will not happen again. " (sportklub.rs, 30 Jul 2020)
