"When I was a child I did swimming and artistic gymnastics. But at some point I couldn't do both at the same time. So I chose swimming because I was already in love with water. I couldn't be outside the water. And I don't regret that decision. Now I wouldn't be able to do the things that I did in gymnastics." (olympics.com, 10 Sep 2020)

FAMILY OLYMPIC DREAM
Her grandmother Angelika Radche had been due to swim at the 1940 Olympic Games before the 1940 Games were cancelled due to the outbreak of World War II. Frank says her grandmother's achievements in the sport inspired her ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "In my family, everyone has done some sport, mostly swimming - both my grandmothers, my aunt, my dad, my mum, my brother - everyone has tried this sport. I don't feel that I am under pressure now, but I am motivated to continue in my grandmother's footsteps. I can make her dream and my dream come true, at the same time. This is a thought that I've shared with my father; her son." (olympics.com, 10 Sep 2020)

MOVE TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
In late 2019 she relocated to the United States of America with the help of a grant, and later joined the Azura Florida Aquatics club in Davie, Florida. (ladiaria.com.uy, 30 Jun 2021)
