REPRESENTING CAPE VERDE
Born and raised in the United States of America, she and her older siblings Troy and Latroya made the decision to represent Cape Verde after they were contacted by the nation's swimming federation in 2017. They were eligible to represent Cape Verde through their mother Maria Alfama. "To be able to represent my country is amazing. I can't wait, and I can't wait to put the name out there, so that people when they hear the name Cape Verde, they know what others are talking about."
