Her parents Robyn Erbesfield and Didier Raboutou have both represented the United States of America in sport climbing. Robyn won gold in the lead event at the 1995 World Championships in Geneva, Switzerland, and also founded the ABC Kids Climbing gym in Boulder, CO, United States of America. Didier competed in lead at the 1991 World Championships in Frankfurt, Germany. Her brother has also climbed competitively. MOTIVATION
She says that when people question her climbing ability because of her height it only motivates her more to succeed. "I don't let my height stop me from climbing hard. If someone tells me a move or a climb is too out of reach for me, it does not discourage me, but instead makes me want to try it even more and prove them wrong." ALL-ROUNDER
She says she will enjoy competing in all three climbing disciplines of speed, lead and bouldering when the sport makes its Olympic debut at the 2020 Games in Tokyo.
