FOCUS ON SKATEBOARDING
He made a deal with his parents that if he won a medal at his first world championships in 2019, they would let him focus on professional skateboarding. "I told them that if I go to the world championships and win a medal, you will let me drop school. My parents said, 'First you win, and then we will talk about it'. Two months later, I was at the world championships and I won [bronze]. I came back home and the first thing I said to my parents was, 'We had a deal, so I will dedicate myself 100% to skateboarding'." (fpp.pt, 27 Apr 2021)

RIVALRY WITH TWIN BROTHER
He says he shares a friendly rivalry with his twin brother, who also skates. "We are family because, ever since I began riding my skateboard, I always had my brother beside me, but at the same time it is not family because I compete against him.
