His father is a policeman, which he says has helped get him out of trouble when he has skateboarded in forbidden areas. "My dad would end his working day, he is a police officer, and take me to a skateboard park. He was really strict with me and there were lots of rules. Besides my house, there was a school that I used to skateboard at, and we would jump over the fence to use the sports court, which had a really smooth floor to skate on.
