CONSIDERING QUITTING
He said he had thought about quitting the sport before receiving an offer to join GS Fiamme Gialle in 2018. "It came after a difficult period. In January of that year, I had been doing well for months but nobody had called me. So one day I told my grandmother that if they didn't select me soon I would quit, because I would have to take another path in my life and not just focus on sport.
