She did not take up shooting until about 2001. She won her first European title in 2011 and qualified a place for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. "I started shooting quite late. At age 32 I had a pistol in my hand for the first time and tried to shoot. At 38 I joined the national team and at 39 I started to compete internationally."
