He has said that he intends to keep competing for as long as possible. "If everything goes smoothly, you can keep persevering and you remain healthy, shooting at the top can be practised until a very old age. Swedish shooter Ragnar Skanaker, even in his 80s, can hit the target and win competitions. Also, the Latvian shooter Afanasijs Kuzmins has participated in a total of nine Olympics.
