General
WORK-LIFE BALANCE
She works as a doctor alongside competing as a shooting athlete. "Being a doctor helps me a bit with perspective, and being a competitive shooter helps me keep my composure. Sometimes a healthy lifestyle can be difficult because I work long hours and need to fit in training around that. Although I am busy I aim for balance with work, shooting and the rest of my life, as well as trying to fit in some exercise, all of which are critical to lead a healthy life. Sometimes having an extra perspective, or something else in your life, is really helpful to be a balancing factor so you don't go stir crazy. I don't see myself being a shooter when I'm 65, but I'd really like to keep being a surgeon until that age. It's what I hope to do for the rest of my life."
