His parents were competitive shooters, and he followed them into the sport. "At first my parents didn't even want me to be a sport shooter. Education was considered more important. WORLD CUP DISQUALIFICATION
At the 2021 World Cup event in Delhi, India he and teammates Zalan Pekler and Peter Sidi had qualified for the 50m 3 positions gold medal team match against India. However, he and Pekler refused to take part in the match because they objected to teammate Sidi's use of a bipod - which he had glued to the end of his rifle - as a support weight, as they believed it was "illegal" equipment.
