MOTHER'S INFLUENCE
Her father passed away when she was age one, so she was brought up by just her mother. "I think [my discipline] comes from my mother, who raised me alone. She sets a good example of how to get on with life, and I feel like I'm getting along. Sometimes I realise that my contemporaries don't know what they are going to do with themselves over the next few years, but I am always aware of the next step. She was frightened at first, a little shy about the guns, averse to shooting, but then she relaxed about it. She saw that sport shooting is a good sport and that shooting has a great community."
