"My passion for shooting came from watching action movies, but it just so happened that I got involved in the sport competitively. I heard that there was a training ground in Viti [Kosovo], my city. So I decided to go and try myself. When I went there they saw that I was talented because I was very accurate from day one." (rtv21.tv, 06 Jun 2021)

RETIREMENT THOUGHTS
He says he considered quitting the sport but changed his mind when the International Olympic Committee [IOC] granted full membership to the Kosovo Olympic Committee in 2014. "The dream for the Olympic Games started only after the admission of Kosovo to the IOC. Otherwise, we were only competing in Kosovo, and I did not know if I would continue shooting.
