MENTAL APPROACH
After finishing outside the medal positions at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he decided to change his approach and focus more on the mental aspect of the sport. "There are relaxation therapy techniques, based on breathing and visualisation of things, that I considered unimportant for me but I've realised that they are relevant. It is a complete modification of my relationship with the sport. In France we are generally behind in mental preparation. I surrounded myself with people who are not members of the shooting world, and it is crucial. I do not pay attention to the value of the competitions any more. I let my brain do what it knows how to do, to order my body to shoot the plates. If I break 125 plates, I win, it's as simple as that. Being on a shooting range either for the regional championships, or the national or the world championships is just the same. The goal is to avoid any sort of negative stress. EDUCATION
