"I started training when I was 19 years old, and when I was admitted to a sports school, they said they could not accept me because of my age. I offered to give myself two months to set the number of points I should shoot according to my age. Two months later, I fired as many points as I was required to. "Shooting turned out to be very accidental. I was studying at university, I had no idea about this sport at all. There was a time when I wanted to go swimming. One day my father called and said that there was a place where I could shoot, and swim. I was admitted to a sports school, I went swimming for two days, then they removed swimming from the programme. She has also studied for a degree in sports psychology at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Education. "I graduated from the Armenian State University of Economics, after that I got involved in sports and became interested in sports psychology, and shooting is different from other sports, because it is not a physical sport. You can be physically weak but successful. The role of the mind and psychology are much more important here, so I decided to enter the Armenian State Institute of Physical Education.
