General Interest

General
SAILING SIBLINGS
He and brother Sam have sailed together in the 49er since 2008. In 2012 they took a break for three years, before coming back together in 2015. "We've had a mindset all along that [the 2020 Olympics is] what we've been aiming at. We took a bit of a break to work and do other things [from 2012-2015], but Sam and I came back together. We got on well, which you have to [in order] to succeed. While it would be special to go to an Olympics with any sailing partner, it's even more special to go with my brother Sam." (mysailing.com.au, 27 Feb 2020; australiansailingteam.com.au, 18 May 2019; insidethegames.biz, 27 Jan 2020)

SPEED RECORD
In 2010 he and brother Will set a Seiko Speed Attempt record when they hit 24.1 knots while training in Weymouth, England. (49er.org, 08 Aug 2010)
