He first partnered with his crewmate Lisa Darmanin, who is also his cousin, in 2008. The pair's first medal together was gold in the Hobie 16 class at the 2009 Youth World Championships in Buzios, Brazil, and they went on to win silver in Nacra 17 at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. I can tell when Lisa's stressed, she knows when I'm stressed, and how we can help offload that pressure both on and off the water. It's an advantage we have that other teams might not."
